Board of Management Membership Audit
(Please complete all fields) |
The constitution of a board of management of a catholic primary school is determined by the number of recognised staff serving in the school. Schools with a staff of one teacher are required to have a BOM consisting of 4 members; one patron’s nominee, the principal teacher, one elected parent representative and one community representative. Schools with a recognised staff in excess of one teacher are required to have a BOM consisting of 8 members; two patron’s nominees, two parent’s representatives, the principal teacher, one other member of the teaching staff and two community representatives.
To ensure that we have the most up-to-date information on board members in the dioceses of Kerry, Killaloe and Limerick we are commencing a board of management membership audit. In order to make the provision of this information as hassle free as possible we have developed this online form. All fields in the form are required and must contain text. If your board has a member vacancy the unfilled position should contain the text ‘vacant’. As part of this audit we are also seeking information on the current and predicted enrolment of the school as well as details on the number of pupils of other Christian faiths, other faiths or no faiths currently attending the school.
We kindly request that audit submissions are made on or by Monday 20th of December.
Thank you for your co-operation. |
